Dr. Abbie Jones
Owner
Dr. Abbie Jones is the founder and CEO of Mindful Growth. She is a licensed Health Service Psychologist (clinical psychologist) and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She holds endorsements as a school administrator and was a teacher before returning to graduate school.
Dr. Jones provides psychotherapy, consultation for organizations and schools, psychological evaluation, is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Safe and Sound Protocols, and is an expert on Executive Functioning. Dr. Jones supervises all pre-licensed clinicians.
Ashleigh Boone
Director of Kentuckiana
Ashleigh Boone is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist in Kentucky and Indiana. She is also licensed as an Independent Practitioner. Ashleigh has experience working in clinical and residential facilities and in schools. She has training in culturally responsive practices, crisis and risk management, and is a Dyslexia specialist. Ashleigh currently manages all Kentuckiana services for Mindful Growth.
Ashleigh is currently working to earn her doctorate and plans to pursue the Health Service Psychologist endorsement after graduation. She is completing her training under the direct supervision of Dr. Jones.
Jerome Scheidler
Assessment Coordinator
Jerome Scheidler serves West Central Indiana as an Assessment Coordinator. He is a masters level licensed special education teacher with multiple endorsements. He is highly trained in achievement testing, intervention implementation, and data tracking, and he has been trained to implement Sonday System Reading Intervention Programs.
Clair Haley
Clinician; Psychology Intern
Clair Haley serves as a masters level clinician. She has experience working in the fields of neuropsychological assessment, clinical mental health, psychotherapy, and special education assessment. Clair is currently working to earn her doctorate at Indiana State University and plans to pursue the Health Service Psychologist endorsement after graduation.
Taeler Browning
Assessment Coordinator
Taeler Browning serves Kentuckiana as an assessment coordinator. She graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a bachelors degree in psychology. She has earned her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license and is well versed in the science of behavior and motivation.
Meghan Olds
Meghan serves as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She holds two masters degrees - one in Mental Health Counseling from Butler University and another in School Counseling from Indiana State University. Meghan is a Licensed School Counselor in Vigo County. She is a Trauma and Crisis Specialist and Mental Health Specialist through the American School Counselor Association. Meghan has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. She is working towards her full credentialing under the supervision of Dr. Jones.
Meghan provides therapy and specializes in children and family services. She has practiced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for 9 years. She is excited to expand her services and work with new children and families.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) / Therapist
Ashley Delaunois
Ashley is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner offering psychiatric assessments and medication management. Ashley treats patients ages five through geriatric with a focus on depression, anxiety, sleep, ADHD, mood disorders, psychosis, and addiction. Ashley has been serving patients in the Terre Haute area since 2019. Her experience includes emergency medicine, community mental health, outpatient medication management, dual diagnosis, and adult inpatient psychiatric care. Ashley has a masters degree in nursing from IUPUI, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana State University, and a bachelor's degree in public relations from Indiana State University. Ashley has four children and resides in Terre Haute. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking.

Dr. Renee Bauer
PMHNP-BC
Dr. Renee Bauer has lived in this community for over forty years with her husband and four children, and she has worked in the psychiatric field for over 30 years. As well as serving patients with Mindful Growth, Dr. Bauer teaches psychiatric nursing for Indiana State University and is the director for the newly created PMHNP program.
Dr. Bauer’s history includes inpatient and outpatient treatment to individuals over the age of 5 and older. Dr. Bauer’s service has consisted of Bloomington Meadows Hospital, Wishard, Hamilton Center, Harsha Behavioral Center, and Union Hospital outpatient, as well as more than 50 presentation, various awards, and 40 peer reviewed publications.
Grant Morrison
Massage Therapist
Grant is a Terre Haute native who is passionate about optimizing health and wellness for his community. He aims to reduce pain cycles associated with chronic movement patterns through bodywork. Grant earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and earned a minor in Massage Therapy. He is highly educated in Myofascial Alignment Therapy and bodywork tools. Grant provides clients of Mindful Growth with traditional massage therapy, alignment, assisted stretch, and more.
Grant is currently working toward his master's of Mental Health Counseling degree. His goals are to counsel those wanting to optimize their lifestyle to promote longevity and reduce chronic pain. His other passions are diversity and inclusion, social justice, and mediation.
Nick Jones
Office Manager
Nick earned his undergraduate degree in marketing from the Scott College of Business at ISU. He has experience working in continuous improvement with deep analytics knowledge, a passion for strategic improvement, and has earned his green belt in Lean Six Sigma (i.e., he is a trained process improvement specialist). Before co-establishing Mindful Growth, he served as a business analyst, productivity improvement coordinator, and production supervisor. Nick manages human resources, finances, and serves as productivity and improvement coordinator of Mindful Growth, so we can ensure forward momentum.
Nick has experience managing people and facilities — and now, he runs us.

Sara Collins
Sara enjoys providing compassionate care to individuals, couples, codependent partners, and families that are struggling with a variety of mental health challenges. Serving all age groups, Sara offers individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and support for substance abuse or other traumatic issues. Sara will help navigate your challenges with empathy and expertise. Sara is particularly passionate about working with veterans and first responders.
Sara offers specialized support for PTSD and trauma. She excels in addressing women’s issues such as postpartum mental health, depression, and anxiety, as well as midlife transitions. Most common practices and evidence based interventions include cognitive, behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also offers couples in marital counseling to help relationships and resolve conflict as well as those navigating separation or divorce.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Therapist
Dr. Emily Cannon
Dr. Cannon is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Indiana State University. She has a diverse background in medical-surgical nursing, infectious diseases, education, and mental health. Dr. Cannon is ANCC board-certified as a PMHNP and utilizes a holistic approach to mental health care, focusing on the connection between physical and mental health.
Outside of work, Dr. Cannon enjoys spending quality time with her family and pets. She enjoys running and being outside to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
